Following the Holy Spirit
While studying the gifts of the Holy Spirit one night during a Mens Connect Group, we prayed for a young man preparing to lead Bible studies at a local high school. Men of all ages felt Holy Spirit place a word on their heart for young man’s life and ministry. It was powerful to see God’s Word in action in real time! Over the following weeks, many “God moments” were experienced by the high school students through this lunchtime Bible Study!
Sprained Ankle Healed
I sprained my ankle during mud run and couldn’t put weight on it. I went to Ps Dave McDonalds worship night, a sister at church saw me limping, she prayed for me and I went home pain free and walking normal! Thank you Jesus for your healing!
When I am weak, He is strong
I had been preparing for a major exam in medicine. I sat the exams and learned I missed out by 1 point. It was a major disappointment. Two weeks before the next exam I tripped and hit my head hard against a wall. I struggled with headaches and was unable to concentrate for long. We prayed and relied on God even more. I sat the exam and this time passed with flying colours! I still don’t know why God didn’t let me pass the first time. But I praise God he got me through the second time. All glory goes to Him! It is proof even when I am weak He is strong!
